Job or Travel? Job or Travel? Job or Travel? 

After completing my degree in Speech Pathology last year, I decided to get away from the world as I knew it for four months and travel on my own through some countries in south-east Asia. I was looking for adventure. I was looking for excitement. I was looking to explore different cultures, people, food and day-today living. I also knew that I was going to countries that had many opportunities requiring people to donate time, energy and skills. So prior to leaving, I researched what volunteer opportunities existed in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia, and this is how I got involved with the Green Gecko Project.
